ENT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION CELEBRATES GRAND RE-OPENING OF NEW FIRESTONE LOCATION

Firestone, Colo. – Ent Federal Credit Union recently held a ribbon cutting at the credit union’s Firestone location to officially celebrate their entry into the community. Ent acquired the Firestone service center after a merger with US Alliance Credit Union (USACU) in June of this year.

USACU, founded in 1951, originally served employees of the US Treasury Department. The credit union later expanded their charter to serve employees of other agencies such as the U.S. Post Office, U.S. Mint-Denver and the Department of Agriculture. In 2003, USACU obtained a state charter allowing membership to be further expanded to include small businesses and Home Owners Associations in downtown Denver.

When USACU merged with Ent, they had assets of approximately $63 million and provided financial products and services to 7,000 members through two service centers in downtown Denver and one location in Firestone, CO.

Ent is the largest Colorado based credit union and provides a full range of financial services through 27 service centers, online and telephone banking, a call center, business banking and a mortgage loan center. Ent is a community-chartered credit union serving El Paso, Teller, Denver and Pueblo Counties as well as portions of Adams, Weld and Arapahoe Counties east of Denver. Ent has $2.5 billion in assets and more than 191,000 members.
