ENT CELEBRATES ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF OFFERING FREE EDUCATIONAL PODCASTS

Colorado Springs, Colo. – It has been one year since Ent Federal Credit Union developed and launched a free financial education podcast series on their website, Ent.com/Podcasts.

Ent has produced a new podcast each month since the inception of the program and covered topics such as basic investing, smart car buying and tips on avoiding phishing scams.

Over the course of the year, Ent’s podcasts were downloaded more than 7,700 times. The most popular podcasts were Cracking the Credit Code, Safety of Your Deposits and Budgeting Basics. Ent’s podcasts are written, recorded and produced in-house by Ent staff.

Victoria Selfridge, Ent’s director of marketing and eCommerce, said “We are very pleased with our first-year download numbers. In these economic times people have a lot of questions about their finances, and we’re glad they are turning to their local credit union for answers. Our podcasts fit well within our current financial education program and we’re proud to offer another avenue for free education for our members.”
