Ent partners with local zoos to encourage kids to be money smart

Colorado Springs/Pueblo/Denver, Colo. – Ent is offering a special reward to kids who open a youth account between now and August 28, 2009. Every child who opens an Ent youth account will receive a plush toy giraffe and a free ticket to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Denver Zoo or the Pueblo Zoo.

It's never too early to start teaching children the value of good money management. That's why Ent has partnered with local zoos for their youth account promotion. Children ages 0-12 can open a Money Space Star Savers® account and those ages 13-17 a GalaxySM account.

Ent’s youth accounts are designed to teach children of all ages how to be smart money managers with tips on how to save, spend and even borrow money wisely. Ent offers rewards for kids who hit savings milestones and several tools, like money log books and free seminars, to help children be financially successful.

Lois Carlock, Ent's education and event manager, said "It’s never too early to start teaching children about smart money management. That is why Ent really focuses on this youth program – we want to make sure children have a strong knowledge base and develop good habits; that way they’ll mature into money smart adults."
